On Road at about 44th +/- there was a restaurant named The Mediterranian. We existed on neighborhood that was M and 14th and myself and my 2 brothers could walkup to 24th street to get yhe 5 dollar burgers...Delicious! Likewise I rememver the precursor of the Bohemian Restaurant (that we still Appreciate and head to every time I'm in Omaha) was Chops Cafe...merely a block east of the present Bohemian cafe. Many followup comments: 1. Inn... You are right-on about Knights tennis.

Omaha is Inside The Beef Condition, and contains an extended history using the meatpacking business.

I do believe they were on 10th block or in that spot, possibly down from Chops Alley. Participants from the: Slogan Maclean-considered by some to become the godfather of baseball; he had a house hearth and lately and his partner sitll are now living in Omaha. Other Omaha Knights players: Jimmie Jamieson, Chick Chalmers, Gordie Dryden (goalie), Chris Jablonski, whose wife was the initial figureskating instructor at Aksarben.
